This year, the Elmbrook school board election is of utmost importance, with two seats up for election: Area II and an At-Large seat. After thoroughly reviewing all candidates, I wholeheartedly endorse Amit Singh for Area II and Cheryl Milnes for the At-Large seat.

Both Amit and Cheryl embody the strong values and leadership qualities our community needs to enhance the Elmbrook school board. Amit has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership in his professional and personal life, as well as in his volunteer work. As an immigrant who has worked hard to achieve success, he exemplifies a strong work ethic, moral integrity, and a deep passion for education. His educational background, including a medical degree and a Master’s in Business, makes him an ideal candidate to lead our schools.

Cheryl brings an impressive background in education support, community leadership, and service on local boards, complemented by significant experience in finance. The opportunity to elect a CPA to our board is invaluable, as Cheryl can help optimize and improve our school district’s finances. Her compassionate approach, strong work ethic, and moral clarity are qualities that would greatly benefit the School Board.
