With 28 days until Election Day, the far left is showing exactly who they are — and our students are caught in the middle. (see image Here)
Last week, the Department of Education honored Brookfield Central High School as the only high school in the entire state selected to host a special assembly celebrating America’s 250th anniversary. Students received commemorative t-shirts (that stated “America 250”) and had the rare opportunity to view historical artifacts from our nation’s founding — a Pilgrim Bible, a cannonball, and other pieces of living history.
It should have been a moment of pure pride for our community.
Instead, far-left activists seized on the event to spread misinformation, stoke outrage, and attempt to turn a school board meeting into a political rally — weeks before an election.
This is the playbook. Find something to be angry about. Distort the facts. Mobilize before anyone can respond.
I want to be clear: I am not angry. I am sad. Sad that adults in our community are willing to use children as political props to advance an ideology that finds nothing worth celebrating about the country we live in. Sad that a genuinely wonderful moment for our students has been weaponized.
I celebrate America. I believe our children should know this country’s history — its struggles, its failures, and its extraordinary promise. That is not a political position. That is a parent’s conviction.
The far left does not want a school board member who will stand firm on that. That is exactly why I am running.
If you believe our children deserve better than this, I ask for your support and your vote on April 7th.
